November 4 - 139
So much for giddy. I did great yesterday though so I'm assuming it's water weight. Ate an energy bar this morning pre-workout since I think I've gone long enough with the less than 50g carb a day, probably affecting my energy levels now. And now I'm eating my morning quiche not even hungry. Weird, eh?

November 3 - 138.5
I am doing so well that at one point yesterday I got giddy.
The difference between this diet and the traditional low calorie diet is that you're not hungry all of the time. That doesn't mean it's completely easy, you still have to make the right choices and exercise control over your portion sizes. It's also a bit tricky sometimes to get the right balance of proteins, fats, and good carbs.
We are soon heading into weights that I haven't seen since I fell off the primal wagon over a year ago. Knock on wood that I can continue my half a pound a day!

November 1 - 139.5
This marks one week since I started this blog, and I have lost 3.5 pounds. Not too shabby for a week, although the start of any diet always sees a couple pounds fall off right away. We'll have to see how these last few days before my papa arrives go. The week wasn't great, it has 3 off nights (Clever Crow, Trick or Treat, Shelby Pizza Time!) but it was all fun, delicious and worth every minute (and every drop of wine, in me and on me). Yesterday had the potential to go badly since I went to Tiffin and my sister was in charge of my lunch, and even though she offered me homemade cinnamon waffles as soon as I walked in the door, thankfully for lunch she had leftovers of a hearty tomato soup she made, which was all goodness except for a few beans in it, and the piece of bread she served with it. My willpower was otherwise strong, I made pumpkin pie for my hairdresser and my brother-in-law, and both offered me pieces but I bravely said "no no, must get to 17%"
Saturday I'm pretty sure I was in the 30-40 carb range which would have dropped me into ketosis for the day (extra fat burning!).
This week I've got some good stuff planned, some guacamole beef and yes, more chili, as I bought some bison at the farmer's market.
Come on 17%!
